How delivery works

GolfRay Gadget is a marketplace that connects you with independent gadget shops close to you. We don't run warehouses or sorting hubs, and we don't use postal services or long-distance couriers.

Your order goes straight from the vendor's counter to your door with a local rider, so there are no hand-offs in between and nothing sitting in a depot.

Delivery time

From the moment your payment is confirmed to the moment the rider reaches you, delivery takes between 30 minutes and 2 hours. Here is what happens in that time:

1. Your order reaches the vendorOnce your payment goes through, the order appears on the vendor's dashboard straight away.
2. The vendor packs itThe vendor prepares, packages and seals your item at their shop.
3. A rider picks it upA nearby rider accepts the job, collects the package from the vendor's counter and heads to your address.
4. It arrives at your doorThe rider hands the package to you. Check it before they leave (see the note below).

Delivery fees

Delivery fees are not flat, and they don't depend on the weight or size of your item. We work out the fee at checkout from the shortest road route between the vendor's shop and your delivery address.

Because we match you with the nearest vendor that has your item, the fee is usually lower for closer shops. You will see the exact amount before you pay.

Check your gadget when the rider arrives. Electronics are carried in padded, weather-resistant compartments, but you need to inspect your order in front of the rider. The steps are in our return & refund policy.
